Haldane Fisher are delighted to announce £600 has been raised for the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children through the sale of clearance paving products at our Newry Branch.

The Children’s Cancer Unit charity’s two isolation rooms in the Haematology ward were recently officially opened their by Melissa Harshaw and Carl "The Jackal" Frampton. The opening of two new state of the art isolation rooms at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children will help children living with cancer in Northern Ireland and will allow more children to be treated with the number of specialist rooms now numbering ten.

Melissa's Harshaw remarkable story began a 5 years ago when she was diagnosed with a melon sized tumour in her abdomen. Fast forward a couple of years and Melissa has become the face of children surviving Cancer in Northern Ireland and was behind the drive to raise the funds required for the new units at the Royal.
