Milwaukee Yamaha British Supersport and International Road Racing star, William Dunlop, was delighted to meet up with representatives of Haldane Fisher recently at the Adelaide Motorcycle Festival in Belfast. (William Dunlop pictured here with Darren Mawhinney, branch manager of Conlig).
The Northern Ireland based company is one of the leading independent suppliers to the construction industry in the UK and Ireland, serving both trade customers and the general public, and will assist the Ballymoney rider on a personal level this season with financial support.
Stephen Rooney, Marketing Manager at Haldane Fisher, explained:
“On behalf of Haldane Fisher, I have to say we are delighted to be involved with William Dunlop and the Milwaukee Yamaha Team this coming season. Road Racing is part of Northern Ireland’s sporting heritage and there’s no bigger name in the sport than the Dunlop family.
“William is a very talented and affable young man and we have every confidence that he will represent the Haldane Fisher brand with great fervour – both in the British Supersport Championship and on the National and International Road Racing scene in 2013.
We will undoubtedly be on hand to lend our support to him when and where we can, especially at our home race in May on the North Coast, at the International North West 200.”
William Dunlop, who will kick-start his season on April 7 at Brands Hatch in Kent, at round 1 of the British Supersport Championship with Milwaukee Yamaha, added:
“It’s been like a dream come true for me since I signed with Milwaukee Yamaha, and to now have personal support from Haldane Fisher, who are one of the leading builders’ merchants in Northern Ireland is just great. I know a lot of the staff are big bike fans so I look forward to seeing them at the North West 200 in May where I will be looking for some top results.”
