Planning is an important element of any project, but never more so than when you are building your own home and incurring the greatest expenditure you are ever likely to make. In this section you will find useful advice on everything from financing the build to planning permission and registering for VAT.
The external build
Every project is different, so in this section you will find information on the general areas which you'll need to consider in the construction of your house. Your architect and contractor, if you have them, will be heavily involved at this stage to guide you, but our self build representatives are also on hand to talk to you about the specifics of your project.
