Haldane Fisher sponsor Speed Pool Tournament trophy

in aid of the Respect Project Newry.

Haldane Fisher were delighted to sponsor a Speed Pool Tournament trophy in aid of the Respect Project held last Saturday.

The Respect Project is made up of volunteers who bring together people from all backgrounds to help them improve on lifestyles and also help them with education, training and employment.

The aim of the Respect Project is to use sport to create a safer, stronger and more respectful community throughout the Newry and Mourne area. With key objectives including: engaging with young people, trying to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in targeted areas, bringing people together from different backgrounds to make a key contribution to community development, encouraging sportsmanship & citizenship amongst those young people / volunteers involved in the Project and creating pathways for participants & volunteers into education, training and employment.

A total of £500 was raised for the project on the evening. Haldane Fisher would like to wish all the volunteers the very best with their endeavours.
